You can delete your YewSave account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same data.
This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.
If you have lost access to your phone or your sign-in, email support.yewsave@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account.
Sending it from your sign-up address is what lets us confirm the account is yours — we will not delete an account on a request we cannot match to it. If you cannot email from that address, write to us anyway and we will tell you what else we can accept.
We action deletion requests within 30 days, and we will email you to confirm when it is done.
Everything tied to your account is permanently removed:
Nothing is kept in a recoverable form, and there is no waiting period during which the account can be restored. Deletion cannot be undone — if you want to keep your records, export them to CSV from the Transactions screen first.
We keep no personal or financial data after deletion, with one small exception: a few counters on our relay outlive the account for up to 48 hours so that deleting and re-creating an account cannot reset a day's limits. Each is just your account id and a small number or two — a date, a count, or when you may retry. They hold nothing about your money and delete themselves. We also keep any records the law requires us to.
